Throwing The Best Birthday Party Ever

When it comes to throwing a birthday party for your son or daughter, no matter which age, there is an endless amount of children’s birthday party themes that you can choose from to make your child’s birthday a picture perfect vision for their special day.  After deciding on the date, time and guest list for your party, now it is time to talk about the theme with your child.  It is important for you to reflect your child’s true personality when hosting a birthday party for them.  If they really, really, really want a Spiderman party and instead, you throw a barnyard birthday party because you think that it would be so much cuter, there will certainly be a few temper tantrums and tears.  Remembering that this is their birthday party and should be thrown the way that they desire is the key to guaranteeing a successful event.

There is an unbelievable array of children’s birthday party themes to choose from.  If your daughter is quite a little girly girl then a princess themed party would be the perfect compliment for her.  You could have her little princess friends come dressed in their most glamorous princess ball gowns.  Greet them at the door of your chosen venue with a sparkly tiara, magic wand and princess sash to wear during and after the party.  You can play a fun game of Pin the Crown on the Princess and The Princess Memory game where you would have 15 or so different princess (wands, crowns, jewelry, glass slippers) items in a box.  Have your princess friends examine the box for a few minutes and then cover the box up.  At this point, they need to try to remember everything that was in the box.  The princess with the most correct guesses wins the contents of the box.  This princess party will certainly be a magical addition to your daughter’s special day.

Deciding on the best children’s birthday party theme for your son will be just as fun and exciting to plan.  If he is into pirates, decorate your house like a pirate’s lair, complete with “X” marked rum bottles, stuffed parrots, sand and of course, a treasure chest.  Invite your guests to dress in their best pirate garb.  Continue on with your pirate theme with pirate napkins, plates, cups and balloons.  A fun game would be to give your guests a treasure map.  They have to follow the directions on the map leading them to several different spots in your house, where they gather another clue.  When they finally end up where the X marks the spot, a treasure chest full of goodies will be there waiting for your guests!  Your partygoers will have a swashbuckling good time!
